About TESS
Trade Enhancement for the Services Sector (TESS) is a new USAID
program that supports service sector liberalization and advancement.
TESS is designed to support USAID missions in formulating and implementing
service sector related elements of their trade strategies, through
a variety of tools including training, trade capacity building,
diagnostics, and other technical assistance. CARANA Corporation,
in close collaboration with USAID, will implement this three year
initiative, which will involve the development of a website, training,
and short-term assignments related to the design, implementation,
and evaluation of service sector liberalization.
TESS is a flexible program with both core funded activities to
proactively inform and support USAID on service sector issues, as
well as the ability to rapidly respond to specific technical requirements.
Missions can access TESS services through core funding, co-financing,
or Mission buy-ins.
